    Low Fire Earthenware Glaze

    Our 24 vibrant colors range in opacity from semi-transparent to opaque, and can be used on earthenware clays which have been bisqued to cone 04. Perfect for creating beautiful majolica paintings!

    Directions: Shake or stir well. Use a soft brush to apply 2–3 smooth, flowing coats to earthenware clay which has been bisqued to cone 04. Dry-foot or stilt, and fire to cone 05 or 06. Thin with water if necessary.

    High Fire Stoneware Glaze

    Our 24 vibrant glazes cover a range of transparent celadon-like colors, bright solids and mottled/variegated colors. Great for kitchen and utility pieces! (Tableware producers check out the MSDS information)

    Directions: Shake or stir well. Use a soft brush to apply 2–3 smooth, flowing coats to bisque. Dry-foot or stilt, and fire to cone 5 or 6. Thin with water if necessary. If dipping, thin with water to the desired consistency.

    Underglaze

    Speedball boasts 24 liquid, opaque colors that will not move or bleed, making them perfect for detailed painting, sgraffito and design work. They may be applied to greenware or bisque and can also be blended. The underglazes are compatible with both the earthenware and stoneware covering glaze.

    Directions: Shake or stir well. For opaque coverage, apply 3 flowing coats to greenware or bisque. Fire to cone 04. Apply a covering of Speedball® glaze to increase color intensity or when using a functional ware. Fire to appropriate cone for glaze used. Thin with water if necessary. May be used for a variety of decorating techniques.
