Design, Carve and Print Your Own Tea Towel with Speedball Demo Artist, Susana McDonnell

Come and learn a new skill and leave with the ability to create your own hand-block printed fabric items. In this workshop we will create a simple design, learn how to transfer and carve it into a rubber block and print it onto a tea towel. Students will bring home their finished tea towel, their rubber block and a new skill set that they can continue to use indefinitely.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Susana McDonnell is a Boston based designer and printmaker who holds a BFA from the New York State College Ceramics at Alfred University. She is a lifelong artist and teacher, proficient in many mediums, currently obsessed with the magic of printing on fabric.
