Intro to Lino Block Prints with Maria Frati

Introductory class for people who want to explore what block printmaking has to offer. Participants will carve linoleum blocks and print richly textured and colorful works on a large flatbed press. We will cover different carving techniques, inking strategies and how to create colorful gradient rolls. If you enjoy dynamic patterns, design and color this is a great class for you! Absolute beginners are welcome!
