Parts to a Whole Print with Maria Frati

Two Saturday offerings November 12th or 19th 10-2PM (plus some extra time as needed depending on individual). Studio 208, Artspace downtown Raleigh.

This workshop is for those who have already taken a class with me or have some familiarity with linoleum block printing. Participants will play and explore using a multi-block printmaking technique to create beautiful layered colors and texture. As always we will be using a large flatbed press which allows for large prints up to 18×24 inches.

Maria Frati is a printmaking and oil painter. She has a masters degree in art education from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Maria spent six years teaching art in public schools including four in New York City. She adores the art of print and has been teaching printmaking for over ten years.
