Suitable for all ages (children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult).
Join artist Molly Gray and try block printing on paper and fabric using pre-made hand-carved stamps. Mix and match various images to create both a paper print to take home, and a printed fabric square that represents you, and what makes you unique (to be kept by the artist). All the fabric squares created on this day by participants of this workshop and Carve Out Your Place! will be sewn together to create a quilt celebrating the diverse cultural heritage of the surrounding area through a mosaic scene of the iconic Fraser River.
This activity will be first come, first serve, while supplies last. Printing tools, ink, and paper kindly been provided by Speedball Art Products.
This event is free and will be accepting optional pay-what-you-may donations for admission.
