Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA)

Amy Teawalt is a linocut-focused printmaker based in Minnesota, USA. Her prints explore the movement and majesty of nature, from the massive swells of the mountains to the tiniest patches of moss. She takes most of her inspiration from Swedish folk art, botanical illustrations, old forests, dreams, and quiet spaces. Amy creates her minimalist, pensive works in her home studio, where her pair of four-legged studio assistants Campbell and Tessa monitor her progress and keep her in line. When she’s not in the studio, Amy enjoys getting outside for a hike or camping adventure with her fiancé Matt and their aforementioned pups.
