What are the different types of Speedball carving blocks?

Speedball has multiple types of linoleum and soft block options for carving. Speedball linoleum blocks are a tan color suitable for use with any water-soluble or oil-based ink. Red Baron linoleum blocks are a traditional battleship gray color designed for finely detailed registration and color prints, good for use with any water soluble or oil-based relief ink. Speedy-Cut blocks are great for young students or beginners, suitable for use with water-soluble inks only. Speedy-Cut Easy blocks are a blue eraser-like material suitable for use with water-soluble inks only. Speedy-Carve blocks are a soft carving experience without sacrificing fine detail, suitable for use with water-soluble or oil-based inks.

What are the different types of Speedball block printing inks?

Speedball has four main types of block printing inks: Water-Soluble, Fabric, Professional Relief, and Oil-Based inks. Water-Soluble inks are designed for printing on paper for a range of experience levels. Fabric inks are designed for printing on fabric and require no heat set. Professional Relief inks have a single pigment formulation designed for use on paper. Oil-Based inks have a traditional oil-based formulation and require solvent or vegetable oil for cleanup.
