Palm Springs, CA

Charlie Ciali holds a BFA degree in Ceramics.  He has worked as a gallery director for MC Gallery  before opening his own gallery, Perspectives, in Minneapolis MN. In 2002 he moved to Palm Springs California and began printmaking.  Today he operates Ciali Studio,  a fully equipped printmaking studio that offers assisted open studio time for printmaking and encaustic painting. He facilitates workshops throughout the year in both mediums in many locations including the Palm Springs Art Museum, Idyllwild Arts Academy, The Roycroft, Redlands Artists Association, Fallbrook Arts Center and more.   He has created a printmaking program with the the Unified School District of Palm Springs teaching printmaking from grades 5-12.  He is on the Executive Board of the Artists Council at the Palm Springs Museum and has served as a Public Arts Commissioner for the city of Palm Springs.
