How do you change out the ink cartridges on the Speedball Calligraphy Fountain Pen?

First, unscrew nib grip from barrel body using a counterclockwise motion. Insert ink cartridge into nib grip until you feel/hear a click. Then, reattach pen barrel to nib grip using a clockwise motion. Then place cap back on pen, hold pen so nib is pointed downward and shake vigorously. Remove pen cap and place nib to paper. It is recommended to stroke the tip of the nib across a piece of scratch paper with several strokes to encourage ink to begin flowing.

How do you care for Speedball Fountain Pens?

It is recommended that you wash your nib occasionally after use with warm soap and water. Always replace cap after each use and carry pen in upright position to best encourage ink flow. Best used with Speedball ink cartridges.

Can you use other ink cartridges in a Speedball Fountain pen?

Yes; Speedball Fountain Pens are made to be compatible with any universal cartridge of the same size. However, do not use water-proof ink.
