It all comes down to the surface (the substrate) you or project you are doing. Printing on Fabric? Use Speedball Fabric Block Printing Inks or Fabric Screen Printing Inks. These are formulated to be soft to the touch but permanent once heat-set or cured.
Block printing on Paper? Speedball Water-Soluble Block Printing Inks are the gold standard. They dry quickly, have a beautiful matte finish, and clean up with just water.
Screen printing a poster? Speedball Acrylic Screen Printing ink is what you need.

For our professional-grade items that require specific handling (like certain glazes or heavy-duty solvents), we clearly mark them with the CL (Cautionary Labeling) seal to ensure you have the information you need to stay safe at home or in the studio.

Look for the terms "Acid-Free" and "pH-Neutral." These certifications ensure that your paper won't yellow and your inks won't fade or damage the surface over time.
