Individually, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks and is great for texture. On its own, Blue Topaz is a glossy glaze providing a combination of flowing light blue hues like a summer pool. When layered this combination has slight grey undertones with light blue flashes throughout.
The test tile in the image is B-mix clay, fired to Cone 6 with one dip of each glaze which is similar to three brushed coats.
