On it's own, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks. When fired at Cone 5, this glaze gives dark deep tones. When layered, Blue Tiger's Eye pairs well with textured surfaces, and responds wonderfully to a thicker application for blue tones peeking through. When layered over Blue Topaz, this pairing results in slight grey undertones with light blue flashes throughout.
Top Glaze: Blue Tiger's Eye

Bottom Glaze: Blue Topaz
On it's own Blue Topaz is a glossy glaze providing a combination of flowing light blue hues like a summer pool. Blue Topaz is also great for textured surfaces and can be transparent where thinly applied. When layered, this glaze can create electric blue pools, and some subtle green tones as well.
