Individually, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks and is great for texture. On its own, Buttermilk casts a rich warm finish with subtle flashes of Orange. Complete with a semi glossy finish, Buttermilk continually rewards the surface with shifting golden hues. When layered this combination has light warm tones mottled with deep dark blues and breaks of light brown.
The test tile in the image is B-mix clay, fired to Cone 6 with one dip of each glaze which is similar to three brushed coats.
