On it's own, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks. When fired at Cone 5, this glaze gives dark deep tones. When layered, Blue Tiger's Eye pairs well with textured surfaces, and responds wonderfully to a thicker application for blue tones peeking through. When layered over Ethereal Blue, this pairing results in an antique green base with spots of bright blues swirling into dark tones.
