On its own, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks and is great for texture. Individually, Natural Opal is a glossy, semi-transparent glaze that is as versatile as it is beautiful! A stunning white glaze at first glance, but upon continuous inspection you will witness the subtle hints of various hues reminiscent of a precious stone! When layered this combination has swirling sage greens with breaks of amber.
The test tile in the image is B-mix clay, fired to Cone 6 with one dip of each glaze which is similar to three brushed coats.
