Individually, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks and is great for texture. On its own, Green Tourmaline is a gloss glaze that manifests a balance of yellows, blues, purples and greens creating a harmonious surface packed with depth. When layered this combination has sage green mottling through rich dark browns and blues.
The test tile in the image is B-mix clay, fired to Cone 6 with one dip of each glaze which is similar to three brushed coats.
