On it's own, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks. When fired at Cone 5, this glaze gives dark deep tones. When layered, Blue Tiger's Eye pairs well with textured surfaces, and responds wonderfully to a thicker application for blue tones peeking through. When layered over Lavender Mist, this pairing results in deep antique greens with breaks of smooth white where thin.
