On its own, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks and is great for texture. Individually, Variegated Lapis is a gloss glaze with a bold amalgamation of dark to light shades of blue with brighter shades of seaweed green wherever it breaks. When layered this combination has light warm tones mottled with deep dark blues and breaks of rich browns.
The test tile in the image is B-mix clay, fired to Cone 6 with one dip of each glaze which is similar to three brushed coats.
