On it's own, Blue Tiger's Eye is a whimsical gloss glaze featuring rich cascading blues with rutile undertones wherever it breaks. When fired at Cone 5, this glaze gives dark deep tones. When layered, Blue Tiger's Eye pairs well with textured surfaces, and responds wonderfully to a thicker application for blue tones peeking through. When layered over Storied Sage, this pairing results in warm greens swirling with deep blues and earthy breaks where thinly applied.
